Tucker's First day of School.

Tucker goes to a school in Fincastle. The name of the school is Li'l Scholars Preschool.

The first day he went right in. The next two were not so fun. When Ty and I picked him up he was smiling so I took as he just needed time to warm up the the teachers. This week has been good he goes right in which is great for Tucker. Ty wants to go in some days. His teacher's names are Mrs. Kesslar and Mrs. Tuner.

Digging in the dirt!!

Boys will be Boys!! :^)

We went out side and of course the boys went to the dirt in the back yard. They get very dirty and had to be washed down with the hose before being allowed inside. I was also experimenting with the camera. Fun!!

We put gel in the boys hair for the first time. We tried spiking both boys but it didn't look right on Tucker. It is however prefect for Ty.

We went to Patrick Henry Community College it's called Horses on campus.

The boys had tons of fun seeing all the horses.

We were playing with water guns (with out water in them) in the house. It was fun.

Library

The Library had someone come and talk about reptiles. The boys LOVED it. They brought: a turtle, snakes, and a few kinds of lizards. We only got a few pictures.

We love to play with our friends the Beers. They had a slip and slide in the yard it was tons of fun.

Scout Master Ian

Ian Had his first Eagle Scout. It was a lot og hard work but everyone pitched in and Brandon "Skippy" Hartman had his Eagle Court of Honor on May 31,2008. It was a big deal for Troop 549 becase they have not had an Eagle scout in many years. This is not our whole troop but three of the scouts.

Tucker's Birthday

The water started at the water fountain. Then Steve and Meggen Devlin gave Tucker a sprinkler so Ian turned it on. I felt a little bad I did not plan on the kids getting so wet. But when you have kids I guess things never go according to plan.

They had so much fun.

Ty's Birthday

We did Ty's birthday on a Sunday. Ty really enjoyed his cake. There was even some left for the rest of us.

I thought this was just so cute!!

Tucker and Ty got a slide and see saw for their birthdays from Grams, Grumpus, and Great Grandpa Shafer. They them!! This should entertain them for hours at a time.

Well I have more but the cute little munchkins need to have some dinner so that would require my assistance.

Back At Grams and Grmpus's house

Ian and his brother and Kris's Dad. IT was fun to visit with everyone at the same time. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Tucker loves going because he loves their garden. The first thing he likes to do is pick strawberries. He ran out of strawberries to pick so he and Grams picked carrots instead.

The Wedding

This was a fun event for Ian and I. HA! HA! Ian has know the the Plumbo Family for well just about ever. He is friends with the whole family but the brides brother is who he was close to. Well, they got married on a beach in a state park it was really nice. But, Not ideal for two little mischievous little boys. They kept trying to get closer to the water. They thought they might get to go swimming. Mommy and Daddy won. They were unable to get passed us, but their efforts were valiant.

We stay at Ian's mom's house to visit with her for her birthday and Mother's Day. There was also a wedding that we were going to on Monday. For her birthday we got her kits to do stepping stones for the garden. Well I thought it had everything in the little kit, I was wrong. Kris had sea shell which we used to decorate the stepping stones. This is Ian mixing the concrete. The picture above is the boys looking for Fairy Stones in the woods close to were the wedding was going to be. They all had tons of fun.

I wanted to wash the car so the boys helped and look so cool in their sun glasses.

Chris Flies into Roanoke

This was so cool. Tucker and Ty thought it was so neat to see all the planes and the helicopter. We saw him land on Tuesday night then we got pictures with it in the morning before they took off. There are to many picture to post so I try and pick so good ones.

Cake

Rachel and I decorate cakes for birthdays and other thing as a hobby. She will not be here for Tuckers b-day so I wanted to have her help me do a dry run of the cake before she left to visit her family. The icing I made is a little soft so it started to fall a little hopefully I won't do that this summer because his party will be out side and it will be very hot.
